Important Information

Liability Waivers

All members of your party MUST fill out the liability waiver prior to arriving at Edge Control to pick up the cabin keys.  Fill out the online waiver for each guest of your party, before you arrive at Edge Control.

In the event of an emergency, numbers of guests and contact information obtained from the waivers is very important.

Key Pickup

Keys are picked up from and returned to Edge Control, located at 618 Connaught Drive in Jasper. The shop is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily. The key will NOT be given out unless signed waivers for all party members are provided. .

Parks Canada Requirements

Vehicles must display a valid park pass which can be purchased at the park gate upon entry. For more information, call the Park Office at 780-852-6177. A wilderness pass and/or camping permit is not required by guests staying overnight at the cabin.

The maximum capacity of the cabin is 6 people.

Feedback Form

The Feedback Form provides information to the MLSC to address issues and ensure everything is working properly at the cabin.  Before leaving for your trip please download this form from the MLSC website. 

Prior to leaving the cabin, use this form to let us know about cabin conditions, wildlife, and other observations. Please return the feedback form and the cabin keys to Edge Control immediately following your trip.

Shangrila Cabin Use Guidelines

A guide to using Shangrila is available below and is posted on the inside of the door at Shangrila. Please download a copy and ensure all members of your party read this before your departure.

The cabin is equipped with a set of pots and pans, dishes and utensils for 6.  Dish soap, and cleaning supplies are provided. Duvets and pillows are available. 

Please bring your own set of sheets, a pillow case, and dishcloths/dish towels.. There are two queen-size bunk beds, and two twin-size bunk beds.

NOTE: The cabin is NOT supplied with toilet paper. Please bring your own.
